The north-east-trade-wind and kite surfing.
The hang-glider has the wind, the surfer the wave, but the kite-surfer
has both of it!
The bay of La Caleta de Famara with its strong wind and its high
waves is a paradise for the kite surfer. The kite surf school in
La Caleta offers instructions for beginners and up to advanced level
(wetsuits and equipment included).
KITE BEGINNER CLASSES:
Depending on weather/ wave conditions there will be classes of
approx. 4 hours in groups of max. 4 persons. The price (from 114€
up per day/person) includes transfer to the spot and all equipment
necessary. You should have at least two days’ instruction
to learn the basics of handling the equipment and the safety aspects.
For experienced surfers, we also offer classes at advanced and
expert level.
